We are primarily interested in the young audience, but if some work is sent by an elderly person, it doesn’t matter,» said Anton Chermensky, Head of the Information Policy Department of Rossotrudnichestvo.
The selection of works will take place in two stages. First, the experts will form a shortlist, weeding out unsuitable publications. After that, the jury will select the winners. In addition to the applications that will be received for the contest, the jury will independently select publications about Russia by monitoring the information space. The main goal of the contest is to identify and encourage foreign media representatives — authors of TV, radio, print and Internet publications — for their objective and comprehensive coverage of humanitarian projects with Russian participation, which are aimed at expanding economic, social and cultural co-operation.
